Sicilian Scones

(from the Itala family)

2 c milk
2 c sugar
3 eggs
1 TB baking soda
vanilla
zest of 1 lemon

Mix and add enough flour to make a thick dough
Roll thin- less than 1/4 inch
Fry in shallow pan
Sprinkle with powdered sugar
