Salsa alla amatriciana

(typical Roman recipe)

250 g bucatini pasta
400 g tomato sauce
60 g pancetta
medium onion
oil
parmesan
salt, pepper
basil

Dice onion. Brown in oil then add pancetta. Cook for about a minute, then add basil, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
